Our fun and informal flower arranging workshops, run by trained florists Val and Jo, a lovely way to spend a morning or afternoon. Our florist will first talk you through the arrangement she has designed for our class, after which you will be able to create your own floral masterpiece with as much or as little support as you need. We also provide coffee and cake. Our flower arranging workshops are suitable for absolute beginners but we keep them varied and frequently introduce new techniques to stretch our regular flower arrangers. Everything you need - from refreshments to materials and tutoring - is included in the workshop price, meaning our sessions are great value for money whatever your skill level. Whats more, you'll be able to take home a beautiful floral arrangement to impress all your family and friends!
We also offer a floristry course suitable for beginners or those with very little experience. This course which is taught over 5 weeks will provide the perfect introduction to a range of techniques and is ideal for anyone interested in developing a new creative interest. Each week, our trained floirist Val will demonstrate a different design incorporating seasonal flowers. Small class sizes, of up to six, mean each attendee can be individually supported by Val who will guide your progress as you advance your techniques. Basic floristry techniques that will be covered include hand tieds, arrangements, wreaths and button holes & corsages.
